The AP English Literature exam is one that is difficult to study for. The best thing that you can do to prepare for it is take as many practice tests as possible. The reason I purchased this book was due to the fact that it had many practice exams. I believe it is the preparation I did with this book that led to the passing score I received this July. I recommend this book to all AP English Literature students.

I bought this book for my senior English class and studied every page of it before the exam. I must say it helped me quite a bit. I was able to get a strong understanding of the types of questions asked on the exam and felt extremely prepared to take the test thanks to this book. I received college credit for my AP score and I owe it all to this study guide!

This is my first year teaching AP Literature and I got this based off of a recommendation from a training that I attended. It has some advice, that is somewhat useful, but the best part are the practice tests. I give them to my students once a week to practice on.

Great book!!! Bought it for the definitions it had for a homework assignment. I'm in college now and I remember this book from high school and it was filled with great definitions including diction, allusion, etc. and I was the only student in my class to receive 100% on that assignment all thanks to this book =]
High school wasn't full of b.s. after all lol

I bought this book, well mainly because I had to for school, but it is suppose to help study for the AP English 12 test at the end of the year. And it does a darn good job of that. The book is full of helpful tips and plenty of practice questions. No complaints from me!

Great Book, my daughter used it and got a 4 on her AP. For your information, this is from a girl who attends French School all her life. This tells you how great this book is

Although the practice tests were harder than average, they were really helpful in preparation for the exam. Some questions were really out there and would never appear on the exam but the poetry sections were pretty accurate in the level of difficulty.
