I recently purchased the Poe and Jane Austen figures to display in my classroom. The Poe one seemed to be higher quality, though I'm not sure why since they are made by the same company. I've actually purchased this one in the past for friends and they all loved it.

He looks very poe-etic in my bookcase. He's rather small, but the detail is pretty good. I love that he comes with a raven, which you can remove, but I don't know why you'd want to. Would be nice if he could actually sit on the shelf, but it's still an awesome addition to my library.

Yeah, it's just a figure that I have sitting on my office desk (Because I'm a writer of course), but it arrived sans raven. After numerous emails asking for one with no response I decided it just wasn't worth the effort. I guess they follow the "Ignore it until it goes away" school of customer service. An unfortunately common philosophy in the online storefront industry.

Great figure though. I would buy it again even without the raven.
