Compared to other brand wearable blankets, the Halo sleep sack is not as advertised that good. Lots of friends recommended this to me so I bought it. It’s 0.5T so good for summer time. The material feels good so far with a couple wash. The 2-3T size is so huge that I think my baby has lot of space to grow. It seems everything is going well only when your baby is calm and letting you put this on him. My baby always wants to clawing everywhere, and we are having a hard time to put the zipper together after we put his hands into the holes. Other brands are just simply pull the zipper up and all good. And most of them are two way zipper makes parents life so much easier. Check my pictures. Hope they can get this changed for a sleep sack in this price range. It’s not worth the money I think.

Your child is either on team sleep sack or not, so this review touches on parenting OPINION that should not interfere with the review of this product. This is a well built, light weight sleep sack. My daughter is 37" tall and weighs 32lbs and this sack has room to spare. (See photos)

My daughter has used some form of swaddle or sleep sack from a very early age. She was raised with a very consistent bedtime routine that includes entering the dimly lit bedroom, rain machine playing, nighttime books and, of course, putting on her sleep sack. The sleep sack is the final piece that puts her in a chill mood for books and bed. As soon as her arms are in this thing, her eyelids get heavy, the thumb goes to her mouth and she's done with any thoughts of negotiating to stay up later. It's almost creepy how quickly she calms down.

With that in mind, we've had to find ever larger sleep sacks to accommodate her. This sleep sack fits her well. Its light weight makes it perfect for warmer weather. The loose fit and open foot design also make it comfortable. Although we have nudged her to ditch the sleep sack, she continues to ask for her "cupcake sack."

I would recommend this sleep sack.

Love Halo! However, do NOT do what I did (I see I’m not the only one, either) and buy this thinking your chunky baby/toddler cusp who wears 2t in most clothing, will fit in this.

    It is huge.
I’m 5’1, and if I weren’t a chunk myself, it would fit me. I MEANT to buy the early walker version, but I get all amped up on Amazon and just start loading my cart down like I know what I’m doing with my life.

I cannot stress this enough, it. Is. Huge. Do not size up under any circumstances, unless your child is Andre the Giant’s reincarnation.

Still love it, great quality and lightweight, so it’s just going to hang out with us until she grows into it, at the age of 27, by the looks of it.

My 4.5 year old son is 3 feet 8 inches. He can fit into this sleepsack and still has room to grow.
This sleepsack is not too hot, not too cold for my son. When the night is colder, I dress him up in thicker clothing. When the night is warmer, I reduce his clothing.

This is not made of cotton but of polyester and compared to the microfleece HALO sleep-sack, this one is thinner and far more breathable. For children like mine with sensitive skin conditions like eczema, this sleep-sack keeps him warm at night but loose and comfortable, too. The large size is not a problem either because it gives my toddler more room to roll around in when he is sleeping and does not irritate his skin by being fitted or stuck to his skin. The zipper, which is zips from top to bottom, is awesome too because for a potty-training toddler like mine, who likes to remove all his clothing and pee on the bed for fun, he’s not able to take the sleep-sack off on his own. So there are no problems with that either. Advice for the manufactures is to please make this sleep-sack with long sleeves and footsies and make the material 100% cotton.

The fabric is soft and light enough for summer. Kiddo was waking up bc he had kicked off, or rolled out of his blanket, with this on, he sleeps better so I am pretty happy with the purchase.
I have had some issues with the zipper coming apart at the top, but its still functional. It's been about a month so I'm not so sure how well it will hold up, hence 4 stars.
My son wears 18-24 months in most clothes- however this is much too long, so I fold the legs up. I intentionally bought it one size up thinking he'd grow into it, and that with the banded legs it wouldnt matter. The problem is his feet get stuck inside and he cant stand in his crib. I will probably buy the next size down.

I ordered this based on a suggestion from the Sleep Coach my wife and I hired to help us get out 22 month old son to sleep through the night finally. She suggested a sleep sack to both prevent him from climbing out of his crib, but to also be a wearable blanket so he’d stay warm and comfortable at night. I didn’t like the idea of a closed bottom sleep sack like what we used when our son was an infant. I live how his feet are still able to pop out of the sack so he has his mobility without being able to spread his legs far enough apart to swing a leg up and out of his crib. This has worked wonders. We love it.

This product is great! We purchased this for two reasons:
    1. My toddler would always kick her covers off and then wake up because she was cold.
    2. During nap time, she would always take her pants and pull-up off and throw it out of her bed. Which would ,at times, leave me with a pee soaked mattress

This product remedied both of those issues and she doesn't want to take it off lol. It's not very warm so if you live in a cold climate, you may want to get the heavier version of this.

Also I see various people complaining about how big it is and it's supposed to be big. It's a replacement for a blanket. Your kid isn't intended to be walking around in this outside of their bed. It does look extremely huge when you first take it out of the package but once I put it on her and saw how it was intended to work, I consider it perfect for the job.
Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2022
This is a late review. My son is potty trained, so these don't work for him anymore. BUT! When he was little and couldn't quite pull the blanket over him, these were terrific! They were soft, but thick enough to keep him warm. I never worried about him getting too cold if the blanket came off in the middle of the night. They were also good for night car rides, you can put it on them for the ride and bring them right in the house and in the bed when they're asleep.

great product for summer use, it's the thickness of a lightweight tee shirt, so much like sleeping under a sheet. Combined with pajamas underneath it's perfect for the not so cold months. We have the same product in fleece and it's perfect for colder nights. We like these because the child can walk in them, unlike the sleep bags.

A bit thiner than I'd expected but my grandson loves it. Mums not so sure though, as he can liberate his feet and make a bid for freedom where he struggles to escape in his normal sleep sack. He can play when he wakes and move around without getting a chill or needing to be dressed
