I purchased this suitcase after purchasing the international carry on in the same line. I have been a fan of Delsey luggage for years. It is quality luggage and very durable. this has been no exception. I have already made several cross country trips with this piece and it looks brand new. I was amazed ad how light it is. I can fit a ton of stuff in it. Well able to handle enough clothes for a ski trip (as in regular clothes as well as skiing jackets etc) . The wheels are wonderful, and it is very easy to wheel the suitcase next to me without feeling like I am dragging it.

i brought this luggage last min for my 10 day trip in Italy. The package got lost in delivery but they are nice enough to send me another one using 2nd day express so i can receive it before my trip. the luggage itslef is very light and durable. After my 10 days city hopping trip (lots walking on stone road, catching train ride and round trip air), it still look new, no scratch what so ever and wheel still works fine which is my most concern. I am exciting it to bring it to my next trip

I was excited about this purchase. This suitcase was exactly what I wanted: lightweight, spacious and sleek. However, on the second trip using this suitcase, I found it on the conveyor belt with one side of the exterior shell cracked and completely broken. I was so disappointed. For $136 I didn't expect this suitcase to be a Samsonite or Tumi but I definitely did not expect it to break so soon after purchasing.

The suit case is lined inside and can probably take a few beatings on flights, however it feels a little flimsy and seems like it could it break easily. The zippers are hard to find. For a world traveler, this may not be the suitcase for you, but for short term travel it is perfect.

I went on a two week vacation, so I bought this as I had no luggage. I was able to fit two weeks of clothes, makeup, three pairs of shoes, a laptop and all of its needs, two hard cover spiral bound notebooks, and all the other various odds and ends with room to spare. I swear that it is almost large on the inside than it is on the outside (nod to the TARDIS). I even had room for some trinkets that I picked up during my trip, and some extra clothes I had bought. It rolls very nicely, it is super stable when on all fours, and it endured the hardest abuse dished out by the TSA and baggage handlers. The collapsible handle has adjustable heights, the locks work very nicely, they are easy to set, and they are TSA approved. Considering how much I dislike air travel, for once one of my chief complaint was not my moving my suitcase from here to there, or the fact that it did not fit enough of my stuff. I wish I had picked the plum color, but I am still pleased nonetheless.

I used it to fly to and from Ft Lauderdale and to go on a cruise. It was not damaged at all by the airlines or the cruise ship. It is lightweight so I had no problems with meeting the weight limits of the airline. Fully packed, weight was only in the low 30's. I kept taking heavy stuff out of my wife's suitcase and putting it in mine so she could make the weight limits. It rolled easy and wheels were not damaged in airline and cruise ship handling. The only negative is it "seems" a little flimsy when open for packing.

I am waiting to use the luggage for an upcoming Alaskan cruise but at first view, it is sturdy and very light. The pebbled exterior should keep it from sliding and more resistant to showing wear. After some rough airline baggage use, I will know the true value of the luggage. The color is a bit darker than portrayed. I would have preferred reinforced corners but could not pass up the price of this Delsey luggage, based on all of the customer reviews that I read. I must note that when applying identification stickers to the exterior, a considerable amount of rubbing is needed to ensure full adherence. The band of rubber that covers the zipper seems to be a good idea to keep it from being snagged and broken. At first evaluation, I would give the Delsey luggage a thumbs up.

Update:
I used this luggage for a cruise to Alaska. That means four loads/unloads by airline baggage handlers and two load/unloads by Vancouver port stevedores. Not a scratch on my three pieces of luggage. The rubber zipper covers withstood lots of bangs and openings by TSA Inspectors. The two 29-inch and 25-inch cases are undoubtedly the best luggage that I have owned.
