Ugly spots showed up at the bottom. Replacement came next day..
After receiving the wok, which looked nice as advertised, I boiled about half full of water for sanitation before cooking use. I noticed the numerous spots showing up at the bottom as shown in the photo. I don't know if it is just a bad product. I'm returning it for an exact replacement and hope the new one will not have this problem.I changed the rating to 5 stars, since the replacement came within 24 hrs. I noticed small bubbles forming at the bottom when boiling water to sanitize the wok. But this time, it was easy to remove the spots with just half of the cut-up lemon. In fact, after I "cured" the wok with lemon, no more bubble spots remained at the bottom. I think Presto should include this curing procedure in the manual which works really great and keeps the stainless steel wok shining as new after use.
