The Targus A7 15.6-Inch Laptop Slipcase is designed to protect 15.6-Inch laptops from scratches and dust. The heavily padded interior features the Tri-cell Cushion System which combines additional foam padding with mesh material for ventilation. The exterior features neoprene material with an industry-grade tarpaulin gusset around the edge which is highly durable and water-resistant. If used inside of another laptop case, the A7 slipcase provides an additional layer of protection from scuffs and wet weather. The slipcase can also be used alone when transporting a netbook between classes or meetings.

pretty nice laptop sleeve. i bought another targus at best buy for 10 dollars more, but it was half as thick and no extra padding, just a small layer of neoprene. this one has plenty of padding and fits my hp pretty nice. not a ton of wiggle room which i like. i like to have some peace of mind that my laptop is protected and this gives it.

This cover will protect your computer quite well, but because it does not have a carrying handle, or any pockets to store even the thinnest, most minor things, it really seems lacking. I have a Case Logic case for my ASUS EeePad, which I prefer, because it has the handle and some storage. This one is soft inside and thick and will not scratch or damage a computer, and hopefully is well made and will last. Otherwise, it is pretty blah, so I would recommend the Case Logic if they make one for a 15.6" laptop similar to the one I got for my EeePad.

I recently purchased a 15.6-inch Asus Ultrabook and bought this case to store it in. The case itself is great, and stores my ultrabook securely. It is not the tightest fit since my ultrabook is very thin in comparison to some of the laptops that this case can hold, but I do not feel as if my ultrabook is not secured in the case. I imagine that dropping your laptop in this case very hard, or having it run over by a car, would not protect your laptop very well, but it definitely will protect your laptop from dust and scratches and minor falls. The case is very well designed and looks very sleek. I looked through various cases on Amazon before choosing this one, but I'm very glad I chose this because of its sleek design, the quality craftsmanship (I don't feel like this is going to break any time soon, it's very sturdy), and the fact that it does exactly what I bought it for--protects my laptop while I bring it around with me. If you're on the fence, I recommend you purchase it. At this price, you don't have much to lose.

I bought two of this product in black for two 15" laptops. One laptop has a 9-cell battery, which is the kind that protrudes a bit from the bottom and naturally provides a welcomed tilt. I was unsure that the sleeve would accommodate this and was pleasantly surprised to see it accept the entire laptop and zip shut with such ease. With the laptop inside, there's even room to store a few discs--in paper sleeves, not in the jewel cases, which would risk tearing the inner shell--or a notepad. I love the soft yet protective exterior shell. I highly recommend this sleeve. I wish that Targus would make one suitable for 17" laptops.
