I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality of the fabric for the price. As some reviewers pointed out, the zipper pokes outwards, which made it look like I have an odd tail. As one reviewer suggested, I rotated the back zipper to the side of my hip and it looks just fine now. The material is sturdy, pleats are defined, and the red is bold without being alarmingly bright. Although the belt is cheap, it looks OK from afar and really finishes the outfit. I'm 5'4", 120lbs, and the Small fits nicely. I'm in love with this skirt! It sits at a very flattering height, at the smallest part of your waist. The fabric is thick and sturdy feeling, and very comfortable to wear. In my opinion, however, the best part of this is the belt. It's a slide belt, so there is no hole or prong to deal with, and you can tighten it to the correct size for your waist. The skirt holds itself up since it fits tightly at the waist, so the belt is more just for fashion. This skirt was a little shorter on me than in the photo (I'm 5'7'' and ordered a size XL), but it's still long enough to be work appropriate, and the fit and color were exactly what I expected. I've only worn it once, so I'm not sure how the pleats will hold up over time/after washing (I will likely just get this skirt dry cleaned in an effort to maintain the pleats). I will probably buy a couple more - I only wish it came in more colors!

Depends on how much room you want in the waistband. The skirt also runs a little on the short side. A little above the knee. I wore this to church and loved the feel and the way it moved. The belt is a nice touch. Not a bad skirt for the price.

I finally ordered this skirt after a long time making a decision. Why I took so long is a mystery, it only cost $23. The skirt is beautiful. It fits right at my knee, which is my favorite skirt length. The pleats do make it a little conservative, think office type wear, but I am going to wear this during summer and a trip to Kauai. I will wear silky tank tops to make it more casual. The material is thicker, still flowy. The pleats wrinkled during shipping, but they should come out with a hand steam iron. I ordered a size large. I am 5 feet 8 inches tall and weigh 150 pounds. It fits snugly at my hips. I may order the xlarge to see if it can sit lower and still look nice. The belt is ok, but I will be finding a different one. Ladies this skirt is a winner!

The material, on top of being stiff, isn't soft. The color was pretty spot on (I ordered the purple), so that's one thing. But it was small! I ordered a large and I couldn't get it past my thighs! Bah. I do not recommend this skirt at all. Which is sad, because its picture sure does make it look pretty!
