Love this carry on very much. Size is nice and big. I brought it as a hand carry for an international trip from USA to Asia and had no problem or questions. I just hope that it will pass through Europe just as easily.
Size wise, it's very spacious and fits a lot of items inside. I was originally choosing between a hard shell and a soft - the reason i decided to go with the soft is that it has front pouch which is handy for putting documents or items when i was traveling. Weight wise, it is pretty light and easy for both male and female to maneuver and place into overhead compartments. Handle bar feels very sturdy and wheeling it around was easy and comfortable. Wheels rolls very smoothly - had absolutely no issues with it.
The one and only minor issue i had was that you must ensure you have more weight on the lower part rather than the upper - otherwise it tops over easily.

I thought Samsonite stood for good quality bags
I thought Samsonite stood for good quality bags, but I was wrong. The first and only time using the bag I had it filled with clothes, but in no way was it over filled. I easily could have fit more in the bag before needing to undo the extension zipper. That being said, the main zipper tore away from the bag leaving the bag essentially useless. I noticed the tear after I arrived at my travel destination, and since I didn't have another bag I needed to use the same bag on the way back. Fortunately I had a strap with me which I was able to use to hold the bag together to prevent the tear from growing and spilling all of my belongings out.
